What's new · August 2026
August generated referral letters from the visit context with a recommended template, let you pick email, fax, or mail per recipient, rolled a new audio engine out to every account, taught Kubo to infer the visit type on its own, and added a privacy mode for shared screens.
August was about the letter writing itself. Kubo already knows what happened in the visit; now it drafts the referral letter from that, recommends the template, and sends each copy the way its recipient wants it.
Letters are drafted from everything Kubo knows about the visit, and Kubo recommends which template to use. An AI-powered template editor with back/forward history and versioning means you can experiment freely. See Letters.
Pick email, fax, or mail for each recipient from a popover. Email one doctor, fax another, all from the same letter.
A ground-up rewrite of audio capture, tuned for transcript accuracy and now on for every account. Live dictation runs on the same engine for consistent results. See Transcribe.
Visit types are inferred from notes, procedure codes, and recent visits, including a backfill of past appointments. And when an appointment isn’t going ahead, Kubo drafts the referral letter for you.
