The Dialer goes native, and dictation goes everywhere

July was about leaving the browser tab. The Dialer moved into the native apps, dictation works in any application on your desktop, and templates now keep a history you can roll back.

Full calling in the desktop and tablet apps, with patient messaging right from the dialer. See Dialer.

Templates

Version history

Every change to a note template is saved. Roll back to any previous version, and share templates with multiple users on your team. See Templates.

Dictate

In any app

Kubo dictation now works in any application on your computer. Highlight text and say what you want changed, and review past dictations in a history modal with preferences to control what’s kept. See Dictate.

• Stay signed in. Desktop apps keep working longer without requiring a web login.
• Ambient vs. dictation detection. Kubo recognizes whether a recording is an ambient visit or direct dictation and tailors the exam note accordingly.

Notes and letters

• Your logo and signature on clinical notes, with letterhead settings for notes.

Inventory and implants

• Inventory reports now live in the app, with an implants button in the navigation bar when inventory is enabled.
• New implant scanner experience, with implants added directly to the patient chart. See Implants.

PMS Sync

Sensei via the Carestream API

Sensei connections migrated from Sikka to the Carestream API for a more reliable connection with more frequent sync. Procedure codes and appointment types now flow in from your PMS for richer appointment data. See Sensei.

Settings and administration

• Bulk user import from a spreadsheet or CSV.

Everything else

• Paste attachments into the dropzone with Cmd/Ctrl+V.
• Address country defaults to your office’s country.
