What's new · February 2025
February let a consult turn into a same-day procedure without a second visit note, and put the status of the note and the letter on every appointment card — with a red alert when a referral is waiting on a letter.
February was about two moments that used to cost a few extra clicks: the consult that becomes a procedure the same afternoon, and the glance at the schedule to see what still needs doing.
When a consult turns into treatment, you no longer start over. Begin the exam or consult visit, record and write the consult note as usual, then click Same Day Procedure to add the treatment. The consult and procedure notes merge into a single visit note, so nothing is documented twice and the record reads as one visit — because it was.
Every appointment card now shows the status of both the note and the letter for that visit.
The point is that the referring office hears back without anyone at the front desk having to remember to check. See Letters for how referral letters are drafted.
