More context in, more control over the draft

May was about giving Scribe more to work with — files, images, and recordings from wherever they were made — and giving you more say in how the draft comes back.

Context

Screen captures as context

Upload screen captures directly into a visit. Imaging views, planning screenshots, and other on-screen visuals are a few clicks away from being part of the record. See Context for everything a session can read.

Scanned implants on the appointment card

Scanned implants now appear on the appointment card itself. See at a glance which implants are associated with the patient, and click through to view the scanned products in detail.

Smarter attachments on letters and notes

When a clinical note already has files, letter and note cards show an Attach all option, so everything goes across in one step. A new remove attachment button makes it just as easy to leave out what does not need to be sent.

Transcription

• Key terms. Give the transcriber the terms that matter — implant systems, drug names, the phrases your practice uses — and it recognizes them more reliably. Transcription quality improves accordingly.
• Upload audio files. Alongside live recording, there is now a button to upload existing audio, so recordings from other devices or systems can be brought into Kubo.

Customize AI and Templates

• Customize AI. A new section in Settings gives you control over how Kubo behaves for your practice. See Customization.
• Note blocks are now Templates. The name changed to reflect what they are: reusable building blocks for your clinical documentation. Nothing about how they work has changed. See Templates.

Procedures

• Robotic navigation. Implant procedure workflows now document robotic navigation for surgical guides, so the note records how the procedure was actually performed.
• Biologics. Where relevant, biologics now show blood draw information for clearer documentation and communication.
• Alveoloplasty. Bone contouring sections are standardized across procedure forms, so these notes read consistently across cases and providers.
