March was about the last mile of a referral letter — confirming it is ready, getting it to the referring doctor by whatever channel they actually read, and knowing it arrived.
Letters
A Reviewed step
Letters now have a Reviewed state. Mark a letter as reviewed and its status shows at a glance — status indicators on the letter, a reviewed banner, and alerts in the navigation so nothing slips through before it goes out. See Letters.
Send by mail
Postal delivery joins email and fax as a built-in sharing option. Send a letter by mail from the same place you send everything else. Kubo strips attachment pages that don’t belong in a mailed or faxed copy.
Every doctor, their way
- Per-doctor delivery preferences. Each referring doctor can receive letters by email, fax, or mail. Kubo also learns each doctor’s preferred channel from what actually gets delivered successfully.
- Delivery status tracking on every letter, so you know what was sent, to whom, and how.
- “Copies to” lists every recipient on the letter.
- Missing contact info warning. Try to finalize a letter for a doctor with no email, fax, or address on file and Kubo tells you before it’s too late.
- Patient date of birth is now available as a letter template placeholder.

One click on the appointment card summarizes everything recorded for the visit so far, with timestamps. Step out of the room, come back, and pick up where the visit is.
Smarter recommendations
- Template selection. Kubo recommends the right note template based on the visit reason and appointment. See Templates.
- Next-step suggestions now cover letters and other documents, not just notes.
- Consent and clearance suggestions kick in automatically when a same-day treatment or review is recorded. See Consents.

- Better name correction from transcripts.

- Consent form conversion is faster and more accurate on an upgraded AI pipeline.
Clinical workflow
- Same-day treatment on follow-ups. Document treatment performed during a follow-up without leaving the visit.
- Visit-type badges on visit cards and tables make exams, follow-ups, and surgeries easy to tell apart.
- Deep sedation is now an anesthesia option.
- Quick-action cards in the procedure selector get you to common procedures faster.
- Full doctor names are used automatically when two doctors in your practice share a last name.

Analytics across practices
Multi-location groups can now view performance across all of their practices on a single DSO analytics page. See Kubo for DSOs.
Dashboard and kiosk
- Dashboard cards fill your screen. Cards no longer cap at four items when there’s room for more.
- Kiosk forms look better. Cleaner option layouts, alphabetical lists, and text fields that grow with the patient’s answer.
